“THE POPPY APPEAL SCULPTURES ARE TEMPORARY MEMORIALS OF REMEMBRANCE, UTILISING THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION’S POPPY. THE INSTALLATIONS ARE SIMILAR TO A CHRISTMAS TREE AND ARE DISPLAYED DURING OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER EACH YEAR. AN EMOTIVE, ENGAGING AND INTERACTIVE SYMBOL, COMMEMORATING THE GREAT SACRIFICES MADE BY ALL THE SOLDIERS WHO FELL IN CONFLICT.”
